Das Felix Klein Zentrum für Mathematik fördert junge Mathetalente, die an der TU Kaiserslautern Mathematik studieren möchten.
The department of mathematics is one of the three original departments of the university established in 1970. By its active teaching and research focusses in Algebra, Geometry & Computer Algebra, Analysis & Stochastics, Economathematics (Financial Mathematics, Optimization, Statistics) and Industrial Mathematics (Technomathematics) as well as by it close collaboration with the Fraunhofer ITWM in the framework of the Felix Klein Center for Mathematics, it has grown to one of the top german mathematical departments.
