New position at the University of Groningen, Netherlands

From November 2017 onwards I will be Associate Professor for Systems and Control at the University of Groningen, Netherlands, within the Johann Bernoulli Institute for Mathematics and Computer Science. I will have access to my uni-kl-email address until March 2018, afterwards I can only be reached by my new email-address at the University of Groningen, see my contact website there. Research interests

My research field is systems and control theory, in particular:

  • differential-algebraic equations (solution theory, stability, ...)
  • switched systems
  • nonlinear control (funnel control)
  • canonical forms for linear systems

I am vice chairman of the GAMM Fachausschusses "Dynamik und Regelungstheorie" and scientific consultant at the Fraunhofer ITWM, Department System Analysis, Prognosis and Control.
