Numerical Methods for Partial Differential Equations II

Lecturer:  Dr. Raul Borsche

 

This lecture covers the theory on hyperbolic conservation equations, as well their numerical treatment. Modern discretization methods will be derived and analyzed. The used numerical methods will be based on finite differences or finite volume methods. The lecture is selfconsistent and is not based on the previous lecture Numerics of partial differential equations I.
