Accommodation

Participants of the 16th ECMI Modelling Week will have their accommodation in one of the three hotels: Pension Blum, Zepp Hotel and Pfälzer Hof Hotel. The hotels have single and double rooms, with bathroom facilities either within or outside the room. The locations of these hotels are shown in the map given below.

Pension Blum is close to Kaiserslautern railway station and is reachable by foot in approximately 5 minutes.

Participants who are staying in Pfälzer Hof can take bus route number 7 from Kaiserslautern railway station in the direction of "Kaisermühle". The bus departs every 30 minutes during the morning and afternoon (every 10th and 40th minute) until 19:00 in the evening. The complete bus schedule is available here (PDF file). The bus will pass a place called "Schillerplatz" where you should get down. Once you step down from the bus, the hotel is onto your left side.

Participants who are staying in Zepp Hotel and Seelord Hotel can take bus route number 5 from Kaiserslautern railway station in the direction of "Gewerbegebiet" which departs every 30 minutes during the morning and afternoon (every 27th and 57th minute) until 19:00. The complete bus schedule is available here (PDF file). The bus will pass a place called "Rathaus" where you should get down. After which, you walk in the direction of the hotel, as shown in the map below. It will take approximately 10 minutes to reach the hotel.

Besides buses, there are also taxis in front of the Kaiserslautern railway station which take you directly to your hotel for a cost of approximately 5 EUR.
