Our research group researches in areas such as mathematical optimization, applied discrete mathematics and operations research. In addition, we offer a variety of lectures and seminars for students of the different mathematics degree programs as well as for students of other disciplines.

Job openings
In October 2024, the Research Training Group 2982 Mathematics of Interdisciplinary Multiobjective Optimization (MIMO), funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG), will be established at RPTU. More information on the new Research Training Group can be found in a press release by the RPTU.
We will therefore be advertising up to 10 positions for prospective PhD students. Details of the job openings will be published here in the near future. We look forward to receiving applications!
