On the occasion of the 113th General Meeting of the Swiss Association of Actuaries (SAV) on August 26, 2022, Prof. Dr. Ralf Korn was appointed Corresponding Member of the SAV.

The Swiss Actuarial Association (SAV) is a professional association of Swiss actuaries. It was founded in 1905 under the name "Vereinigung schweizerischer Versicherungsmathematiker" (Association of Swiss Actuaries) and is headquartered in Zurich. At the end of July 2022, the SAV consisted of 28 corporate and 1544 individual members.

Prof. Korn, who has been a member of the board of the German Society for Actuarial and Financial Mathematics (DGVFM) for many years and is currently its chairman, is only the sixth German to have the honor of being appointed as a Corresponding Member of the SAV.
