Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we will organize YMSGR 2020 as a virtual symposium. Registration is open, further information will follow as soon as possible.
Young Mathematicians Symposium of the Greater Region 2020
YMSGR 2020 takes place from Monday 14th to Wednesday 16th of September at TUK.
The Young Mathematicians Symposium of the Greater Region is a friendly and inspiring meeting of PhD students and young researchers of mathematics from all universities of the Greater Region. In 2020 it will be hosted by Technische Universitaet Kaiserslautern (Germany), after the preceding editions took place in Nancy (France) and Liége (Belgium).
The conference is open to master and PhD students as well as postdoctoral researchers from all mathematical fields. We invite you to participate, expose your research and discuss about the research of others. However, please note that the presentations are still intended to be accessible to Master students.
Participants are encouraged to submit and present own results (even work containing open problems). Therefore, we have time slots for up to 15 talks and will offer the opportunity for virtual "poster walks".
Additional program, such as a barbeque or the hike, cannot be offered.
Participation will be free of charge. YMSGR is limited to 50 participants.
Register here. We are looking forward to meet you at TUK!
