Department of Mathematics

Graduation Ceremony

On Friday, 23 October 2020 at 4pm, the (traditional) Graduation Ceremony of the Department of Mathematics took place. During the event, approximately 140 graduates of the academic year 2019/20 were honoured.

This year, the event was hold in a "hybrid" form for the first time. Due to current developments in connection with the Corona pandemic, we were unfortunately forced to keep the number of people present in the Auditorium Maximum of the University (Building 42, Room 115) to an absolute minimum. All other registered persons could participate in the event via livestream.

The ceremony was moderated by the dean (Prof. Dr. Sven O. Krumke) himself. In addition to the honouring of the graduates, a review of the year by the dean, awards for special achievements in studies as well as a review from a student's point of view will (as usual) ensured a varied programme. Unfortunately, due to the restrictions in times of the corona pandemic, there were no musical performances this time.

The pictures of the event are available at the Photo Galleries for our Graduation Ceremonies.
